A man who repeatedly assaulted his ex-partner has been jailed.

Jordan Wood, of Spruce Gardens, Bulwell, Nottingham, was arrested after his victim told someone about his behaviour.

Nottinghamshire Police said they were then made aware of a series of attacks dating back to November 2022.

On Wednesday, after pleading guilty to three counts of actual bodily harm and two counts of assault by beating, the 28-year-old was jailed for two years and four months and given a restraining order.
