ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – The Escambia County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office said it made an arrest in a burglary on Sunday.

Authorities said on Nov. 17, units responded to a burglary at the Quick Stop in the 8700 block of Chemstrand Rd.

Officials said the suspect, who first attempted to enter the appellant’s residence, was caught by Deputies Robert Campbell and Don Campbell as he fled.

ECSO said burglary tools were recovered and the back door was damaged.

Officials said Trenton Devaughn was arrested for theft, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass.
