This is not the first time he has allegedly impersonated a nurse; She apparently did the same at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita. Investigators believe she impersonated nurses at several hospitals.

“In early October, we learned that an employee had falsified documents to obtain employment at our hospital,” Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital said in a statement. statement to NBC Los Angeles. “Once discovered, we took immediate and appropriate action, including terminating her employment and reporting her to regulatory and law enforcement authorities. Both hospitals told KTLA that Porter was fired immediately after discovering her alleged impersonation.

No hospital said it provided inadequate care during the time he was employed. In both cases, she worked on probation and was supervised by qualified nurses.

She now faces charges of identity theft, false impersonation and grand theft, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.

“Porter is further alleged to have committed the crimes with planning, sophistication and professionalism,” the district attorney said in a statement. “It is also alleged that Porter took advantage of a position of trust and confidence to commit the offences.”

Porter was arrested on Nov. 7 and is currently being held without bail at the LA County Central Regional Detention Center.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 2 in Burbank.
