Kevin Kuintzle appears in court for his Preliminary Hearing

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – A Twin Falls man charged with murder appeared in court for the second day of his preliminary hearing.

Kevin Kuintzle is accused of killing 84-year-old William “Bill” Aakin at his home in Jerome last year.

Today’s hearing consisted of the state’s presentation of the witnesses in question.

The first witness was the person who sold the guns to Kuintzle and confirmed that he bought them.

The second witness was the detective investigating the case, who testified that Kuintzle tampered with evidence at the scene.

“Their corresponding boxes on the floor near the bedroom were gone. The bodies, the objects around that area were moved, like the bodies were moved, and he was disturbed from what I could remember, seeing him the night before when I left,” said Detective Jon Daubner.

Kuintzle is due back in court Nov. 19 for his arraignment in District Court.
