First Weather Alert: Some sunshine and seasonal temperatures this weekend

ROCHESTER, NY — High pressure will slowly gain, clearing our skies as we head into Saturday morning. So while we may start the weekend with a few clouds, we’ll see mostly sunny skies return on Saturday. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 40s and 50s, which is seasonal for mid-November. Sunday will be another quiet and calm day with morning sun giving way to more afternoon clouds, but temperatures will top out in the mid-50s.

If you’re going to the Bills game in Orchard Park on Sunday, you won’t have to bundle up or prepare for snow like we did in the past! We’ll start the game in the low 50s and slide back into the 40s with dry weather. So the weather won’t be a factor for Bills vs Chiefs. We’ll see a few rain showers return Sunday night into Monday morning before a few light spells.

We’ll start to get more unsettled by mid to late next week with a slow moving area of low pressure moving across the Great Lakes. This will bring us mainly rain, but there may be some wet snow mixed in, especially on higher ground through Friday and Saturday. There’s still about a week to go, so there will likely be some changes, so check back this weekend and early next week.
