THROUGHOUT THE MORNING:

Clouds decreasing tonight as temperatures drop. Count on lows in the upper 30s and 40s.

THIS WEEKEND:

Lots of sun returns tomorrow. After a cold start, temperatures will rebound nicely into the mid to upper 60s in Nashville during the afternoon.

Tomorrow night will turn cold again under clear skies. Low, 44.

A few more clouds will pass overhead on Sunday. Sunday will be the milder of the two weekend days. Great, 72.

NEXT WEEK:

Monday seems occasionally breezy and milder. Low, 49. High, 74. Clouds will increase during the afternoon. Showers and a few thunderstorms will move in late Monday night.

The first weather alert days were issued for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and a chance of a thunderstorm Monday night Tuesday through Wednesday. Drive carefully as this rain passes. Wet leaves make for a much longer stopping distance than plain wet roads and/or dry roads. Next week’s rain will be more disruptive than anything else. Bad weather is not expected.

A First day of weather alert was issued for the much colder weather that will move in behind the cold front. Thursday will actually feel like winter, with highs in the mid-40s and wind chills in the 20s and 30s.

FRIDAY:

Nice start to next weekend, partly cloudy with highs in the low 50s.
