KINGSTON, Jamaica – Police in Kingston East say they found a firearm in an open lot in McIntrye Villa, also known as Dunkirk, on Wednesday.

Reports say the Strum Ruger firearm was recovered from an empty block in an open field during a police operation at 9.30am. The pistol had a magazine attached containing five 9mm rounds.

No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
