Los Angeles Dodgers stars Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts continued their World Series title run with nominations to the 2024 NL All-MLB First Team.

New York Yankees star Juan Soto and Aaron Judge, meanwhile, headlined Thursday’s AL First Team selections.

The complete lists of the 2024 All-MLB First and Second Team selections are below.

Nominations for MLB teams are based on player performance during the regular season. The teams were announced live during the Las Vegas All-MLB Awards broadcast Thursday night on MLB Network.

Soto earned the nomination after hitting a career-high 41 home runs while leading the AL with 128 runs scored. Judge joined him in the All-MLB field after leading the sport with 58 home runs, 144 RBIs and 133 walks.

Betts, meanwhile, was given the nod for a third consecutive season after playing both shortstop and outfield for the Dodgers during the 2024 season.

“It was easy, getting back on the infield,” Betts said at Thursday night’s awards show. – On the field, man, it’s hard. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Veteran Guardians third baseman José Ramírez earned the team’s first win of his career after hitting 39 home runs and stealing 41 bases in 2024.

Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. earned a spot on the first team after finishing the 2024 season as a member of the 30-30 club for the second consecutive campaign.

Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named to the team after hitting .323 with 103 RBI this season.

Brewers catcher William Contreras received the nomination to the First Team after lead NL catches with 23 home runs, 99 runs and 92 RBI.

Ohtani, restricted from release in 2024, earned a first-team spot at DH, becoming the first MLB player to hit 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases in the same season.

Emmanuel Clase from Guardians and Ryan Helsley from St. Louis Cardinals were named First Team relievers, while Chris Sale of the Braves, Tarik Skubal of the Tigers, Paul Skenes of the Pirates, Zack Wheeler of the Phillies and Corbin Burnes of the Orioles made it. The first team started the contingent.

Skenes finished his rookie season with a team lead after posting an 11-3 record and 1.96 ERA through 23 starts and 133 innings with the Pirates.

Skubal and Sale capped off seasons in which they established themselves as Cy Young favorites by earning spots on the first team. The Tigers posted a 21-10 record at Skubal’s startand finished the season with a 2.39 ERA. Meanwhile, Sale won the NL Triple Crown in 29 starts with 18 wins, 225 strikeouts and a 2.38 ERA.
