BROOKLYN, NY — The NYPD is searching for a suspect who allegedly assaulted an MTA conductor on duty at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station in Brooklyn on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The incident took place around 16:28 when an unidentified person threw an object on the platform. in front of the 29-year-old conductor while operating a northbound G train.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai Queens, where she was treated and reported in stable condition. Authorities have not disclosed the nature of the object used in the attack.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
