Police are asking for help identifying a possible witness to a double shooting in June

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they believe may have information about a double shooting in downtown Portland on June 29.

The man was caught on camera near Southwest 5th Avenue and Burnside Street when two men were shot about 1:10 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officials said in a statement.

Officers found both men, who police have not identified, at the scene with serious injuries, police said.

Police have not provided updates on the condition of either man, but said they have not made any arrests and are still investigating.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the man shown in the surveillance footage to email [email protected], attention ECST and reference number 24-160758.

Information can also be provided via Crime Stoppers of Oregon websitewhere anyone with information can submit a secure and anonymous tip about any unsolved crime. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering cash rewards of up to $2,500 cash for information leading to an arrest in an unsolved felony case.
