RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — An investigation is underway after one person died in a crash in Reno Wednesday night.

Crews responded to multiple reports of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Moya Boulevard. and Silver Shores Dr. around 21:45 on November 13. Medical personnel declared one of the drivers dead at the scene.

The other driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The Reno Police Department MAIT (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation. Authorities say the damage is currently under investigation, but speed was a factor in this crash.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.
