JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – One person was found dead at St. Dominic Hospital Thursday.

According to DPS spokesperson Bailey Martin, Capitol Police responded to the scene around 7:13 pm in reference to a deceased subject on hospital property.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart said it was a suicide.

The person’s identity has not been released, and the case remains under investigation by Capitol Police.
