The Camden County Sheriff announced the discovery of bones inside a vehicle used for a release demonstration.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Mid-County Fire Protection District demonstrated a vehicle unloading for high school students at the Lake Career and Technical Center.

During the demonstration, firefighters discovered bones inside the vehicle.

According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the students were immediately removed from the area.

Camden County detectives consulted with Southwest Forensics Medical Examiner investigators and Missouri Department of Conservation biologists to determine that the bones were deer bones.
