    The houses of Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken up within 48 hours of each other in early October, according to multiple reports.

    First reported by TMZevents took place as HEADSThe stars were set to play New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football” on Oct. 7, when Kansas City would improve its record to 5-0.

    However, the night before, Belton, Missouri, police were reportedly called to Mahomes’ residence around midnight on Oct. 6 after a member of the quarterback’s security team called them.

    Conformable police documents obtained by The Kansas City Starthe Cass County Sheriff’s Office report characterized the incident as a “breaking/breaking and entering” while calling it an ongoing investigation.

    Officials said there were no signs of forced entry at the Belton property.

    “Obviously, it’s frustrating, it’s disappointing,” Mahomes said during Wednesday’s press conference before the Chiefs. TMZ reported that documents showed $20,000 was taken from Kelce’s home and the back door was damaged. They added that Kelce and Taylor Swiftwho attended the game, chose to check into a hotel in Kansas City afterward in the interest of safety.

    The Kansas City Star reported that Leawood Police Department records show a burglary was reported around 1:36 a.m. Oct. 8 on Kelce Street in Leawood.

    Kelce and Swift were spotted in New York City in the days that followed as the Chiefs entered their bye week.

    Kelce bought his home in 2023 and has received a lot of public attention since he started dating Swift.

    Mahomes and his family moved into the mansion in 2023. The home was featured in the Netflix documentary, “Quarterback,” while it was still under construction.
