A McDonald’s location in Feasterville, Pennsylvania gained national attention after former President Donald Trump visited the fast-food chain on Sunday. Fox News Digital spoke to customers about their reaction to his visit and the reaction he has received in recent days.

trump card spent part of Sunday afternoon making fries and serving food from a drive-thru at McDonald’s in Pennsylvania. The former president spoke to people from the car, including members of the media and photographers, as thousands of Trump supporters surrounded the McDonald’s restaurant.

William, a Feasterville native who donned a Trump hat for his interview with Fox News Digital on Friday, said he liked that the former president visited the fast-food chain, adding that “most people had a great reaction to it “.

“The reason I’m coming here is because Donald Trump was here,” he said. “I haven’t been here in years and I thought I was back now.”

Miguel, a longtime Feasterville resident who said he lives across the street from the McDonald’s, told Fox News Digital that while he won’t be voting for Trump, the visit showed the former president cares about the American people.

Joe, a third Feasterville native, told Fox News Digital that it was “remarkable” that Trump came to town and worked at the local McDonald’s.

“A lot of people are happy with it,” he said. “It’s good to have a president who seems down to earth and can relate to the little guy.”

“They were hoping to stop at the local tavern and have a cocktail with us,” he added. “But yes, they were happy to see him.”

The Bucks County McDonald’s had its Yelp reviews disabled after receiving a barrage of politicized comments in response to the visit, CBS reported. Yelp placed an “unusual activity alert” on the McDonald’s location and decided to block any new reviews on its Yelp page to ensure user comments reflect “authentic, first-hand” experiences with the establishment, the company told CBS MoneyWatch. But, about 145 new reviews were already posted before Yelp limited comments.

“When we see activity drop or stop dramatically, our moderators will clean up the page so reviews that only describe first-hand consumer experiences are reflected,” Yelp told CBS.

“As an independent small business owner, it is a core value of my organization that we proudly open our doors to all who visit the Feasterville community,” said owner and operator Derek Giacomantonio. “That’s why we accepted former President Trump’s request to observe the transformative work experience that 1 in 8 Americans had: a job at McDonald’s.”

“As a former crew member, I can attest that this job is more than just hamburgers and fries, but a meaningful path to opportunity,” added Giacomantonio. “Local Pennsylvania franchisees like myself are proud to provide more than 25,000 jobs across the state, and I’m honored to showcase my restaurant and the incredible impact of the franchise business model today.”

Visit drew particular attention because Vice President Kamala Harris claimed she worked at McDonald’s while getting her bachelor’s degree in the 1980s. Trump has repeatedly claimed Harris is lying about working in the fast-food industry.

“I just worked 15 minutes longer than Kamala at McDonald’s,” Trump said through the car window as he placed orders.

“I really wanted to do this my whole life. And now I’m going to do it because she didn’t,” he added.

“He shouldn’t lie,” Trump said. “McDonald’s has confirmed four times that it has never worked here. But, let’s not talk about it. It’s an amazing business. It’s an amazing country. And we’re going to make America greater than ever before.”

Harris did not provide evidence that he worked there, but McDonald’s said it has no employment records dating back that far. The Harris-Walz campaign also rebuked Trump’s claims.

“Vice President Harris and I grew up middle class, we understand that. She even worked at a McDonald’s,” Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz said on “The View.”

Trump’s critics also took umbrage online for trying to downplay McDonald’s visit as “staged”, while supporters pointed to the obvious security measures in place for the former president, who has had several assassination attempts against him .
