In January, an apparently obsessed Taylor Swift fan, identified as David Crowewas repeatedly caught lurking around the pop star’s New York residence. Crowe has been arrested three times for his behaviour, with the most recent arrest coming just two hours after he appeared in court earlier this year.

After the court appearance, Crowe was seen loitering two blocks from Swift’s home, slowly making his way toward her home. Witnesses in the area noticed his suspicious movements and quickly alerted authorities, leading to his third arrest.

Law enforcement, talking to TMZdescribed Crowe as “aware of what she’s doing and articulate”, but also fixated on Swift and unable to stay away from her residence. “We are doing everything we can to protect it,” they added.

Despite pleading not guilty to charges that claim he showed up at Swift’s home more than 30 times in just two months, Crowe was later ruled unfit to stand trial. Consequently, the criminal case against him was dismissed.
