Clarksville launches online police-to-citizen reporting system

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Clarksville Police Department has launched online citizen reporting on its website.

CPD added a link to its website in late October allowing citizens to file non-emergency police reports using its new online Police to Citizen reporting system.

Residents can access the page from CPD website by clicking on the “Submit a report” link.. Once clicked, residents will be directed to a P2C page and from there, a report can be submitted.

CPD has published a list of certain criteria that must be met in order to submit an online report:

  • This incident occurred within the city limits of Clarksville, TN.
  • There are no known suspects, witnesses, or physical evidence to collect or process
  • You are at least 18 years old.

“When you go to the page, there will be a list of the types of incidents that can be reported and a link to FAQs to help you through the process,” CPD said. “The online reporting system will save citizens money, allowing patrol officers and dispatchers time to focus on more urgent, high-priority calls where their immediate physical presence is needed.”
