NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A missing Lawrence County woman has been found dead after a Silver Alert was issued on her behalf, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

According to the TBI, 75-year-old Alice Estes was reported missing on Sunday. The TBI said Estes had a medical condition that affected his ability to return home safely without assistance.

She was last seen alive near North Brace Road in Summertown.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, officials said she was found dead in a rural area of ​​Lawrence County.

“Our condolences go out to her family and loved ones,” TBI said.
