Man found with ‘lacerations’ as police hunt for second person injured after disturbance

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with a “laceration” following a disturbance in Edinburgh.

Officers were called to Rannoch Road in the Corstorphine area of ​​the town at around 10.50pm on Friday October 25 to reports of a disturbance.

A 23-year-old man was found injured and taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to be treated for a laceration.

Inquiries are ongoing to find a second man who may have suffered minor injuries during the incident.

Detective Sergeant Jen Hughes said: “Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and to trace everyone involved.

“If you were in the Rannoch Road area around the time of the incident on Friday night and have not yet spoken to the police, I urge you to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area and has dashcam footage or if you have any personal footage that could help our investigation to come forward.”
