Tuesday will bring a noticeable change with cooler and drier conditions moving in under high pressure. Daytime temperatures will top out in the mid-60s, and overnight lows will be clear, dropping into the 40s and upper 30s by sunrise Wednesday. Another cold front moves in Thursday, bringing the next chance of rain before seasonably dry weather sets in for the weekend.

Clouds will thicken Thursday, with a chance of rain arriving after noon and continuing through mid-morning Friday. Most areas should average about 1/2 inch of precipitation, with an isolated total of 1.0 inches for a few spots.

The sun returns for the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Dry air will create overnight cold lows in the 40s with a few in the 30s Saturday night.
