Greetings from ExCeL, where I just arrived for my first game show and comic con!

I’m here to take in all the sights and sounds of the most colorful day in the comics calendar.

On the train, I met Catherine Mariah, dressed in a handmade fashion Beetlejuice-the inspired costume that actually lights up.

Mariah convinced her younger siblings, Melissa and Tom, to come this year.

“There are panels, games, displays,” Catherine tells me, “and my favorite part is meeting other cosplayers.”

“By the end of the day, you’ll be sad it’s over – you’ll have the Con Blues!”

The Mariah family is ready and so am I, so stick with me for light saber battles, cosplay contests, hit actor reunions, a Pokémon star appearance, and much, much more!
