The Jalandhar Police Station has solved a robbery case with the arrest of a person and recovered a motorcycle from his possession.

The incident took place on October 31 near the water treatment plant behind Pholriwal village, where an individual was robbed of a motorcycle and a mobile phone. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered on November 4 at Police Station, Sadar under Sections 304(2), 126(5) and 3(5) of the NBS Act.

Through meticulous investigation, the police identified the prime suspect as Raja alias Raja Ram, a resident of Kalyanpur village, Jalandhar. The accused was detained and the motorcycle, bearing registration number PB08-CN-1637, was recovered from his possession.

Commissioner Swapan Sharma confirmed that efforts are on to nab two other people involved in the crime. “The police remain committed to ensuring justice and maintaining order in the city,” he added.
