A wreck involving a Mobile Police Department vehicle Monday left two people hospitalized, according to officials.

According to WKRG News 5, the crash involved the MPD vehicle and two other vehicles. The incident would have occurred on Monday, around noon, near Bulevardul Guvernului.

An MPD spokesperson provided a statement to News 5 saying there is no specific information available yet.

“The accident happened a short time ago, so I don’t have any details yet,” the spokesman said. “However, I can tell you that everyone is out of their vehicles at this time.”
