Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” #1 on Hot 100 for 17th week

Shabuozey“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is at #1 for a 17th week overall Billboard Hot 100. In the chart’s 66-year history, the song is now outright the longest at the top by an artist without accompanying acts, surpassing the 16-week run held by Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” in 2023.

Overall, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” now sits behind only Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus in 2019 for the longest streak at No. 1 – 19 weeks – in the Hot 100’s archives.

Meanwhile, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, which became Shaboozey’s the first Hot 100 leader in July, “Last Night” one-ups for the longest reign of the 2020s.

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” also extends this year’s longest reign of 21 weeks on the multimeter Hot cool songs chart. It is one of eight titles to reach the milestone since the survey became the genre’s comprehensive song chart in 1958. Additionally, the hits that have it charted on both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is now only the longest-ever leader at number one behind “Last Night”.

Elsewhere in the Hot 100’s top 10, Tyler the Creator“Sticky,” featuring GloRilla, Sexyy Red, and Lil Wayne, goes 14-10. It’s Tyler, The Creator’s third career top 10, all in the past two weeks off his new album, Chromacopywho posts a second week at #1 on the Billboard 200.

The Hot 100 combines all genres of US streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the latter measure reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; Digital single sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from graph calculations.
