At least eight cars were destroyed after a container truck caught fire in Telangana’s Sangareddy district on Sunday.

The incident took place near the ring road on the outskirts of Zaheerabad when flames erupted from the engine of the container truck, which was coming from Mumbai to Hyderabad.

After receiving information about the incident, firefighters were rushed to the bypass road. However, they were unable to control the fire and the fire intensified.

Videos captured by locals show the truck engulfed in flames as firefighters try to put out the fire. Tata Nixon cars inside the truck can also be seen destroyed in the fire.

A total of five fire engines brought the fire under control after a long time, but by then the container truck and the cars were destroyed by the fire.
