Russia is holding discussions on the supply of domestically produced pharmaceutical products with various countries, the executive director of the Radiological Research Medical Center and the chief oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Andrey Kaprin, said in an interview with TASS.

“Sanctions have led us to activate internal resources, for example, in the production of radiopharmaceuticals and the development of technologies for use. While our country mostly sold raw materials for isotopes used in healthcare earlier, now we are negotiating with many foreign countries on the supply of ready-made drugs and training in their use,” said Kaprin.

New technologies for the treatment of metastatic cancer are already being implemented today, he added.
