The official X (formerly known as Twitter) account for Attack on Titan anime teased a screenshot of Attack on school casteswhich is the post-credits scene for The last attack. It shows Eren eating popcorn while standing between geek Armin and goth Mikasa.

Attack on school castes appeared in volumes 21 through 34, portraying a modern version of Attack on Titan characters. Everyone lives in a normal high school and it’s a slice of life comedy in contrast to the much darker main story. Despite this being basically a canon modern AU, there are quite a few nods to the quirks and stories of the main series. The post-credits scene for the film will use the final chapter from volume 34.

Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is a compilation movie of parts 3 and 4 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season. In an interview with Crunchyroll, series director Yuichiro Hayashi said that this is actually the optimal format to watch the series finale due to the way he originally storyboarded it The final chapters special. The film began airing in Japan on November 8, 2024.
