DHAKA, Nov 09, 2024 (BSS) – BASIS President M Rashidul Hasan today pledged to protect and preserve the collective interests of the industry while welcoming the new members at an orientation ceremony at its auditorium here today.

He said BASIS will remain an empowering force in the technology community, expressing the executive body’s deep commitment and unwavering loyalty to supporting the needs of its members as a top priority.


In the interactive and engaging event called “Welcome to BASIS: New Member Orientation Program,” the president also outlined their goals, reaffirming BASIS’ mission to pave the way for accelerated development in the information technology sector, a statement said of the press.

A total of 70 leading IT companies participated in this vibrant program.

The orientation program aimed to connect new members to the larger BASIS network, discuss common goals and strengthen the unified vision for the growth and progress of the IT industry.

In the welcome speech, Senior Vice President dr. Mostafizur Rahaman Sohel encouraged new members to actively participate in the BASIS community, highlighting the transformational potential they bring to the technology landscape.

He highlighted how BASIS is dedicated to cultivating an environment where every member can thrive, innovate and contribute to the digital evolution of Bangladesh.

Vice President (Finance) M Asif Rahman and Biplob Director Ghosh Rahul gave a presentation on the journey, purpose and offerings of BASIS.
