The parent company of Rockstar Games, maker of GTA 6, Take-Two seems to be on track with its commitment to deliver the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 by the fall of 2025. The company recently released its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025. Despite the fact that other games in the house are doing well, all eyes seem to be on one title in particular, GTA 6. The results indicate that Take-Two is on track to reach the upper range of or. projected targets, with net bookings reaching $1.47 billion this quarter and an annual target still set at $5.55 billion to $5.65 billion.

This growth is primarily driven by the continued success of the GTA and Borderlands franchises, according to Take-Two President and CEO Strauss Zelnick. He said: “We have one of the strongest portfolios of owned intellectual property in our industry. With many exciting new titles coming in fiscal 2026 — including Grand Theft Auto 6 in the fall, Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country — we expect them to create long-term value for our shareholders.”

The report also features a number of upcoming titles from 2K, including Grand Theft Auto 6, slated for a “Fall 2025” release but initially limited to PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. Meanwhile, other anticipated titles like Civilization 7, Borderlands 4, Mafia: The Old Country and Judas are also planned for a PC release. For PC gamers, this likely means waiting until 2026 at the earliest to get their hands on GTA 6.

GTA 6 Trailer 2 Leak?

Although the game is still about a year away, but its anticipation has always been growing, especially with fans wondering when the second trailer for the game will be released. The first trailer was dropped on December 5, 2023, and about 11 months have passed with no sign of the second trailer dropping.

Just a few days ago in a thread on Reddit’s r/GTA6, a user speculated that the second trailer could be out on November 6, based on an infographic detailing Rockstar’s announcement trends and recent earnings reports . However, Rockstar Games has not fulfilled this wish of gaming enthusiasts and it looks like we will have to wait a lot longer.
