OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) — One person was killed after flames tore through a mobile home park in Madera County on Friday.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at the Whispering Pines mobile home park in Oakhurst.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office has not yet identified the person who died.

Two mobile homes were destroyed in the fire, displacing an unknown number of people.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the flames.
