Chick-fil-A employees rush to help customer who has seizures in drive-thru

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR/Gray News ) – A trio of Chick-fil-A employees are being recognized for their bravery after rushing to help a customer who had a medical emergency on the way.

Young women are hailed as heroes, but they see the situation much differently.

Employee Jada Marsh noticed a customer having a seizure on the treadmill and called team members for help.

“I said, ‘Guys, I think he’s having a seizure,'” she said.

From there, Marsh and two other employees, Georgia Foster and Katherine Garcia Angel, sprang into action.

“Katherine comes and goes running, so I start running after her,” Foster said.

“Katherine actually jumped out the car window,” Marsh added.

Once inside the car, Angel put his hand on the brake pedal while Foster put the car into park.

The women say trained EMTs came out of the restaurant when it all happened and provided medical aid to the customer.

The women are called heroes, but they say they were just trying to help.

“Chick fil A is an important part of being a part of your community and helping your fellow citizens. I think that went into it,” Foster said.

Chick-fil-A awarded each woman a plaque as a lasting reminder of their courage.
