Hunt allegedly began following the store clerk around the building. The chase ended when the clerk managed to hit Hunt in the head with a chair, police said.

After being hit, Hunt was able to leave the store. Witnesses told police they saw him hiding evidence in a dumpster on Indiana Avenue.

Officers located Hunt and arrested him, planning to take him to jail on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault, police said.

He was taken to hospital for injuries related to being hit in the head with the chair before being booked.
