AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) – Police in Auburn say a teenager has been arrested following a fight that left one person needing surgery.

Landen Stephen Padgett-Snow, an 18-year-old from Mobile County, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault.

Police said the incident occurred on Oct. 26 when officers responded to reports of a fight in the 100 block of West Magnolia Avenue. By the time the police arrived, the people involved had fled the scene.

The victim was later taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries, officials added.

Following an investigation, police identified Padgett-Snow as a suspect. He was taken to Lee County Jail on $25,000 bond.
