THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A suspect involved in Thomson’s 14-year-old murder he was transferred to be housed with other adults at the McDuffie County Jail.

Teyiceazhia Williams, now 17, was arrested in 2023 and charged with felony murder for her involvement.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation told us Friday that Williams has been charged as an adult in connection with the incident.

Williams was 16 at the time of her arrest and was initially taken to the Augusta Youth Detention Center.

The agency says there are no new updates on the case and it is still active and ongoing.

Victim, Jonathan Johnson, 14, died on Saturday at 11:31 a.m. from a gunshot wound to the head.

Dequadrez Walker, 18, and Camerin McNair, 15, were also arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and gang charges.

After Johnson’s death, the case was turned into a homicide investigation and additional felony murder warrants were obtained for Walker and McNair.

Walker was taken to the McDuffie County Jail and McNair was taken to the Augusta Youth Detention Center.
