A Silver Creek man has been arrested for allegedly sexually exposing himself to and sexually abusing another person more than a decade ago.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Donald Thurston, 71, was charged with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree public lewdness.

On Oct. 31, an investigation was conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Through this investigation, deputies allege Thurston exposed himself to a victim. Thurston is also alleged to have had sexual contact with another victim around 2012.
