A 19-year-old and a 22-year-old are headed to state prison for up to 10 years for their role in a home invasion robbery in Hilltown Township last year where they posed as sheriff’s deputies.

Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19, of Glenside, pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of theft by unlawful taking, according to court records.

Both were sentenced to five to 10 years on the robbery charge and three to six years on the burglary charge by Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr.

“I am proud of the tremendous work done on this case,” said Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn. “Fortunately, home invasion robberies are exceptionally rare in Bucks County. However, when it does happen, law enforcement will devote countless resources to identifying and apprehending the perpetrators, and we will prosecute to the fullest extent.”

Authorities said on May 25, 2023, Hilltown Township police were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Reliance Place in the Green Meadows area for a report of a burglary.

The investigation found that three men arrived at the location in a rental vehicle and were dressed as sheriff’s deputies, police said. The men wore masks and claimed to be from the Sheriff’s Department and had a warrant.

Armed with a firearm, the men forced their way into the home, authorities said. The men tied up the victim and moved him to another location in the house.

Two of the men then stole two firearms, a large amount of marijuana, $4,000 in cash and various items of clothing, police said.

The three men fled the home in a white Ford Explorer and the victim was able to call for help. Law enforcement officials were able to identify two of the three men as Still and Fort, according to Schorn.
