An Argentinian friend of Liam Payne, a hotel employee and a drug dealer are facing charges over the singer’s death on October 16.

According to several Argentinian outlets, the friend is accused of desertion after allegedly failing to respond to calls from the CasaSur Palermo hotel about Payne’s erratic behavior.

The friend reportedly tried to testify for authorities, claiming he was at the hotel at the time of Payne’s death, but some employees said they never saw him.

As for the hotel employee, who was fired from CasaSur Palermo, and the dealer, they were accused of providing Payne with the drugs that were found in his system at the time of his death.
