RB notes: Top 10 in rushing yards per game, Bijan Robinson is second in rushing yards. The Saints are the latest in a string of soft defensive games. … Kyren Williams‘ four games low for touches is 21. Operating as the home favorite for a contest with a total of 50.5 is a nice spot. … De’Von Achane has turned 36 touches into 268 yards from scrimmage in two games since Tua Tagovailoa’s return. This, to put it mildly, is more like it. Now he’s being greeted by a 50-plus total for a road game against the Rams’ soft run defense. While the Dolphins struggle to get anything going downfield, expect Achane’s short passing to remain a point of emphasis. … Pretty much the only thing working in the Texans offense right now, Joe Mixon he is 5-for-5 for 100 yards in the games he has played to completion. The Lions’ tough defense will test that, with the Texans operating as underdogs at home. Of course, they are only tough in the raw production sense. Per game, Detroit is coughing up 4.8 yards per carry. That’s because teams can’t contain him and stick with the run. This is CJ Stroud’s Week 10 challenge.

We were hoping that the acquisition of Davante Adams could improve the Jets’ overall offensive environment. It’s way too early to tell, but Breece Hall posted his second- and third-highest career totals in the past two weeks. The Cardinals defense is not imposing on the field. … You never quite know what to expect when a player returns in the middle of the season, though we’re confident the 49ers took things slow. Christian McCaffreyhis return. Even though CMC is “capped” at 12-15 touches, we know that’s more than enough to produce top RB1 returns. The Bucs are among the least efficient in the league. … Alvin KamaraHis 35 touchdowns in Week 9 were a career-high by three, while his 215 yards from scrimmage was a career-high by 18. Even this version of the Saints should can keep things close enough for AK to put away 20 touchdowns at home. vs. a mediocre Falcons ground defense. … Jahmyr Gibbs continue to produce RB1 on “it’s awesome” returns. His moderate workload will eventually lead to a heavy fantasy day, but that’s not a gamble worth placing such a good player in such a dangerous offense.

Even in a week 9, D’Andre Swift reached 22 touches. He’s in a good place to bounce back as a 6.5-point favorite at home against the Patriots’ all-funnel defense. … Tyrone TracyHis biggest problem: Touchdowns are hard to come by in this offense, as are red-zone opportunities. At least on paper, 6.5-point underdog Carolina solves that problem for Week 10. No team surrenders more rushing yards or fantasy points to RBs. … James Cook he’s blocked on 50 to 60 percent of the Bills’ snaps, but there are worse places to be than north of 50 in an elite offense. With the Bills’ receiving corps plagued by injuries, Cook could be facing one of his biggest tasks in a while against the Colts’ bottom defense. … The Vikings seem to be working on a new change of pace again Cam Akers behind Aaron Jonesbut that didn’t stop Jones from reaching 25 touches in Week 9. The Vikes likely want to take things easy on the veteran Jones and his hamstrings, though even if they did, the Jags would still be a top RB2 even if it were Jones to “only” take 12-15 handles. … As for Akers, there’s not enough reason to put him in the top 40 just yet.

A game without Zack Moss (neck) tied 32 touches for Chase Brown. The Bengals likely don’t want to do that again, as evidenced Khalil Herberthis commercial acquisition. Either way, the undisputed lead for the biggest game of the week is a nice Thursday night spot for Brown. … Colts coach Shane Steichen he was wise when asked about Jonathan Taylorit was delayed week 9. It’s not a concern after all. The same is not true of Taylor’s effectiveness with Joe Flacco under center. A much better Week 10 matchup — the Bills are allowing the second-most points to fantasy RBs — should be beneficial for everyone involved. … Tyjae Spears (hamstring) continues to work toward a comeback, as Titans coach Brian Callahan spoke wanting to cool off Tony Pollardhis duties (link). The lengthy return of Will Levis (shoulder) would be another concern. None of that is enough to keep Pollard productive and efficient out of the top 24. … Najee Harris reached 100 yards in three straight games for the first time in his career. That includes each of Russell Wilson’s first two starts. It’s a healthier overall offense going into a matchup with a Commander defense that is much more forgiving on the ground than through the air.

Chuba Hubbard he probably has one more game at the RB2/3 limit. Recruit Jonathan Brooks is making his NFL debut in Germany, but it would make more sense for the Panthers to step up his usage for real after the week leading up to Week 11. … Rico Dowdle proved conclusively that he was worth the Cowboys’ backfield for him, just in time for Dak Prescott to get hurt and destroy the entire offensive backfield. Owner Jerry Jones will likely also use it as an excuse to talk a veteran out of suspension Ezekiel Elliott he deserves a second chance 1B Dalvin Cookhis flop. Dowdle at least gives FLEX an advantage, if a disadvantage. … The Broncos continue to talk about bigger assignments for Audric Estime. I think it will happen eventually. It’s also “believe it when you see it” territory, especially since a trail-mode road contest in Kansas City probably isn’t the most likely place for the Broncos to change their rear guard. … Brian RobinsonHis (hamstring) health questions have become prevalent enough that it’s a little difficult to trust him in the top 24. … Bucky Irving and Rachel White they continue to cannibalize each other’s fantasy work, but they see enough touches to stay in the top 30 because of the poor state of RBs on this side of the board.
