Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in Indonesia spews a huge column of ash

Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in Indonesia has erupted again, spreading fresh panic among residents already traumatized by explosions that killed at least ten people on Monday.

The country’s volcanology agency reported seven eruptions on Thursday, with the most powerful ejecting a giant column of ash 8,000m (5 miles) into the air.

Authorities have imposed a 7 km (4.3 mi) exclusion zone around the volcano on the island of Flores.

More than 10,000 people are living in temporary shelters as authorities warn of potential flash floods and cold lava flows in the coming days.
