Valerie’s House and NACG “Flip the Script” on Childhood Grief

In November, in honor of Children’s Pain Awareness Month, Valerie Pensacola’s homein partnership with National Alliance for Children’s Paincome together to support children dealing with loss.

Through the Flip the Script campaign, both organizations aim to transform the way people understand and approach childhood pain. The campaign encourages everyone – families, communities and professionals – to go beyond the usual expressions that brush away the pain and offer real support through presence, active listening and action.

The campaign, launched by NACG with support from organizations such as the Dougy Center, Eluna, Experience Camps and Judi’s House, seeks to replace hurtful or derogatory phrases with meaningful action.
