According to police, five men with local gang affiliations began shooting each other “indiscriminately” shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of 27th Avenue North and Jefferson Street on October 12.

One of the five men, 24-year-old Vonquae Johnson, was fatally shot and died at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
