CEMA postpones the scheduled test of sirens

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Chatham Emergency Management Agency has postponed an outdoor emergency warning siren system test scheduled for Wednesday, November 6th.

Siren tests are usually conducted at 12:00 on the first Wednesday of each month. Tests are performed to ensure that the system is working properly.

The test scheduled for November 6 was postponed due to cloudy conditions and the chance of rain. It will take place on Friday, November 8 at noon, weather permitting.
