According to arrest records, a young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and three other men arrived at the hospital in a white SUV with bullet holes in the back.

Arrest records show the men told police they were involved in the break-in of a white Jeep Wrangler and were followed by a white pickup truck while driving through the neighborhood.

As the men tried to leave the neighborhood, the pickup truck continued to follow them and began shooting at their vehicle, striking the victim multiple times, according to arrest records.

Officials said surveillance video footage captured a white GMC pickup truck following the white SUV with gunfire coming from the passenger side of the truck.

A license plate reader recorded the van after it left the neighborhood, and detectives traced the registration information to that of the suspect, according to officials.

Police reported seeing the white Jeep Wrangler described in the burglary when they visited the van’s owner’s address.
