Jury convicts man who killed man during argument

NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) – A jury has found a man guilty of killing another man during an argument in 2020.

Quincey Carraway, 25, of Meriden, learned his fate on Oct. 28, according to New Britain Judicial District Attorney Christian Watson.

Carraway was found guilty of murdering Courtney Jones, who was killed on Oct. 11, 2020, in New Britain, Watson said.

According to evidence presented at trial, Carraway shot Jones following a verbal altercation.

Carraway was located and arrested at an address on Joseph Street in Meriden on December 28, 2020.

Sentencing was scheduled for January 10, 2025 in New Britain Superior Court.
