Saber Systems wins $500 million Navy contract for systems engineering support

Saber Systems won a potential five-year, $499.9 million contract from the US Navy to provide systems engineering and technical support services to service branch and foreign military sales customers.

The Defense Department said Tuesday that the Naval Air Warfare Center aircraft division in Patuxent River, Maryland, competed for the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract as a small business retirement program, with six bids received.

Scope of the IDIQ contract

The IDIQ cost-plus-fixed-fee contract includes development, analysis, integration, testing, and support for fleet introduction of various warfare systems to US Navy and FMS customers’ naval aircraft.

Work will take place in Pennsylvania, Maryland and other locations in the continental US through November 2029.
