OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) – Oshkosh police seized more than $330,000 in US currency, more than 7½ pounds of marijuana, nearly 2¼ pounds of cocaine and a thousand THC vape cartridges in a major drug bust from Thursday.

Police say the Vice and Narcotics Unit and the SWAT team executed search warrants in the 1700 block of Lombard Ave. and the 1000 block of Mt. Vernon St.

They found 50 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of cocaine and $3,000 in U.S. currency at the Lombard address and the larger amount of raw marijuana, cocaine, vape cartridges and $330,000 in U.S. currency at the Mt. Vernon.

Detectives also discovered bank accounts that may contain several hundred thousand dollars more related to the sale and distribution of drugs. Investigators seized three cars they believe were bought with drug money.

A 51-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested on suspicion of maintaining a drug dwelling; possession with intent to deliver marijuana of up to 10,000 grams; possession with intent to deliver cocaine over 40 grams; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He has not been identified.

Police are also referring the case to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for possible federal prosecution.

The Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Task Force is also assisting in the investigation. It involves sheriff’s offices and 10 police departments in Fond du Lac, Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet counties, along with the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
