MINDEN, Neb. (KSNB) – A man was killed in a fatal crash Tuesday morning in Kearney County.

In a news release, the Kearney County Sheriff’s Office said the two-vehicle crash was reported at 10:18 a.m. at the intersection of County Road B and County Road 23, about two miles east of Wilcox.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney with serious injuries. A passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Nebraska State Patrol, Kearney County Sheriff and Kearney County Prosecutor are investigating the crash.

The sheriff’s office said the drivers and the victim are adults, but did not release more information about their identities or the circumstances of the crash.

A sheriff’s spokesman said more information will be released after the families are notified and the investigation is complete.

Firefighters from Wilcox and Hildreth, Good Samaritan EMS and the Kearney County Road Department were called to the scene Tuesday morning.
