Sabrina Carpenter engaged more voters than any other artist before the 2024 election

The pop sensation engaged more than 260,000 voters and registered more than 35,000 new voters before the 2024 presidential electionper a report from Variety Tuesday.

The successful “Espresso” singer partnered with the nonpartisan organization HeadCount to break the voter engagement record set by Ariana Grande in 2019 during the “Sweetener” World Tour.

Carpenter, 25, engaged fans with giveaways, in-person activations and video panels on her “Short n’ Sweet” tour.

A raffle – which has since ended – included a chance to be flown to the ‘Taste’ singer’s concert in San Francisco on November 9.

To enter, hopefuls had to verify their voter registration status, by variety.

Ahead of her “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Carpenter teamed up with HeadCount to send two fans to see her perform at the 2024 Governors Ball Music Festival in June.

That contest alone resulted in over 40,000 fans checking their voter registration overnight.

Meanwhile, Green Day’s “Rescuers” tour also broke a record by registering more than 7,900 new voters and engaging more than 61,000 voters through in-person activations, according to the publication.

Carpenter continued to use her influence on Election Day on Tuesday as she took to her Instagram story to encourage fans to vote.

“Please, please vote today! It’s time to make your voice heard,” read the HeadCount graphic he shared.

She later shared the story with Variety about her record voter turnout, adding, “And if we missed you, it’s not too late to vote today!!.”

Carpenter joins many others celebrities who were vocal about encouraging their fan bases to vote in this year’s election as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump compete for the Oval Office.

This list includes Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elon Musk, Amber rose, cardi b, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more.
