At approximately 7:30 p.m., Nov. 3, sheriff’s deputies responded to 221st Street for a domestic assault in progress.

A caller said a woman was texting her that Norcross had threatened the woman and a child at the residence that if law enforcement got to the home, “they’re going to need a doctor.”

According to court documents, Norcross allegedly told deputies he asked the woman to buy him marijuana, but she refused.

He added that the woman threatened to take away his internet access, “and that’s what got him through.”

According to court records, Norcross was released after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography under the following conditions: remain law abiding, not access the Internet without approval, avoid alcohol and other intoxicants, and not assault or harass threaten no one.

Norcross allegedly added that he yells and “gets up in front of people” when he’s angry, according to court documents.

He told law enforcement he didn’t say if he saw law enforcement, they’d need a doctor — instead, he claimed he said “‘law enforcement is being called, they’re going to have to get an ambulance funicular'”.

“The defendant stated that the hearse was for him because he was going to kill himself,” court documents state.

The woman allegedly told law enforcement that Norcross had hit her during previous discussions, and on Nov. 3, knocked the phone out of her hand to prevent her from calling 9-1-1.

Norcross also allegedly disconnected a smart speaker that he told to call the police.

Despite the alleged probation-violating behavior, Mower County Judge Natalie Martinez granted Norcross $0 bond with conditions including the same restrictions and an agreement that he will have no contact with the woman or the child.

His next hearing is scheduled for November 18.
Norcross is also scheduled to be sentenced for possession of child pornography on January 9, 2025.
