    Pedestrian hit on I-80 in south suburbs: ISPA pedestrian was hit Tuesday on I-80 in Tinley Park.

    TINLEY PARK, Illinois (WLS) — A person was struck by a vehicle in the south suburbs Tuesday morning, according to Illinois State Police.

    The crash happened around 10:25 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-80 in Tinley Park, ISP said.

    The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with injuries. Their condition was not immediately known.

    ISP said traffic was detoured onto northbound Harlem Avenue.

    No other information was made available.
